We feel the following information will help you understand our service and will help you in planning your ride.

Contracts
We do require a signed contract. This signed contract, along with your deposit, confirms your reservation date and time. This signed contract also validates insurance coverage for your event.

Weather
If weather conditions cause risk or discomfort for the passenger, horses or driver, the ride will be postponed or cancelled. Cancellation is at the discretion of the company. The carriage will arrive in light rain, unless we are notified of your desire to cancel. We DO NOT put the horses and carriage on the road in heavy rain.

We do watch the weather carefully and will not make a decision to cancel until the last possible minute.

We will not work our horses in the heat of the summer days. During the hot weather we will only accept morning or late afternoon evening events.

Although, deposits are non-refundable, we will apply your deposit to a future ride.

Decorations
Each of our rides is decorated individually. We have an assortment of flowers, greenery, flowers, and bows. We invite you to provide colors from your ceremony to enhance your photos. A "Just Married" sign is provided for weddings.

Beautiful feather plumes are a standard for our Cinderella parties and available for all other rides.

The maroon interior carriage has a bar insert and we will provide ice bucket and glasses . There is no additional charge for any of these "extra" touches.

Length of Ride
Each mile traveled in the carriage takes approximately thirty minutes. In order to avoid  keeping your  guests waiting too long, we recommend that the ride average about one mile. This will enable you to have a nice, relaxing ride and still allow enough time for pictures. you time doesnt begin until the time you have designated on your contract.    In order to prevent your time being lost, we urge you to coordinate pictures, etc with your ride time.

Also keep in mind that safety is our first concern and that each ride's  route will be evaluated for the safety of our passengers and horses. We reserve the right to alter the route if we feel it will be safer for you , the horses and our driver.   If necessary we will provide a vehicle escort.  If the route you have chosen is on a highly traveled road, you will be required to have a police escort for the portion of the ride that is on those streets.   We do not under any circumstances, travel on Highways, highway feeder roads or overpasses, or any road that has a speed limit of more than 35 mph.

There are no permits required for Texas public roadways, however they might be required for private property, parks, or receptions areas. We recommend that your area civic club or neighborhood watch be notified of your ride.   If your ride or event is to be held in a public park, you WILL be  required to have written permission from the city the park is located in.  you will need to provide a copy of this permission with your signed contract.

Birdseed, Sparkers, etc
We want all of our passengers to have the best time possible. Everyone should enjoy this unique experience. However, we will not be responsible for negligence on the part of the person(s) riding in the carriage. Everyone must remain seated while the carriage is moving. We ask that children under the age of 12 be accompanied by an parent or adult. For the younger children (toddlers to 6 years) we ask that a parent be seated on each seat.

We would also appreciate it if you would let us know if sparklers are to be used.

For Every Ride
We always use two horses to pull our carriage and wagons. We DO NOT charge extra for an additional horse.
Whether it is  history and legend, it is common fact that the romantic, historical carriage rides had multiple horses.  (Cinderella had six white mice transformed into beautiful white horses.  Even  the nursery rhyme, "She'll be coming around the mountain", boasts  of six white horses.  The mention  of one horse pulling a carriage  ususally  ends  with a sad, dejected horse wishing he was home in a warm stall.  There fore, we always use two horses as we want you to enjoy the mystical and magical feeling of a multiple horse hitch providing your carriage ride.

Our horses wear specially made shoes designed to give added traction on pavement and concrete surfaces.

"Horse diapers" are always in place to protect and keep environment healthy

Meticulous care of our horses, harness, and carriage is taken and all are maintained to the utmost of safety conditions.

Our carriages and wagons are equipped with brakes, lights, and slow moving vehicle signs to comply with traffic regulations.
